About the Teacher and Founder

Danielle Park

Danielle Park is the winner of the National Award for Aspirations in Computing and is passionate about breaking the barriers to diversity and the gender gap in the computer science field.  She is also a scholar at the New Jersey Governor's School of Engineering and Technology.  Danielle is a published author of "Under One Condition: An Introduction to Computer Science Principles and Programming in Python."  

Outside of school, Danielle is an affiliate cybersecurity researcher at NYU. Danielle is also a DSP researcher at Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a published cybersecurity researcher at New York UniversityInside of school, Danielle is the President of the STEM Club where she has organized her high school's first science fair.  Danielle also plans weekly in-school competitions for the STEM club and creates engaging lessons to increase STEM involvement of her peers, having over four years of teaching experience as a STEM tutor.  

Danielle has extensive teaching experience as the Founder and Director of the Paramus Forensics Middle School Debate League as a state-ranked varsity debater and President of Paramus Debate.  Danielle is also a KWK Scholar, Winston Data Scholar, and Stanford AI Scholarship winner.  Danielle also placed first in Lockheed Martin's Code Quest 2021.  In addition, Danielle is passionate about giving back to the community as a teaching assistant at the Paramus Center of Different Abilities where she aids in teaching students about physical and emotional well-being; Danielle has also had the opportunity to lead a class in introductory programming.
